A Prayer for God’s Clarity
We are asking for Your clarity in this hour. So much is being said. So much is being done. So much is being presented to us by many different influences. But we realize that our opinion is not necessarily how You feel about situations. We recognize that You have a way that You view things and we need Your view, Your perspective in this hour!
You warned us in Your word that there would be times like these where people did not know Your Word or Your heart and would have difficulty discerning between our own human spirit and Your Holy Spirit, therefore not properly discerning the season we are in.
Lord, we need Your clarity in this hour! We need to hear Your voice in the midst of all the noise and distractions! Father, give us a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You! Lord, we pray that the eyes of our understanding would be enlightened! (Eph 1:17-18)
Father, give us a heart to understand Your times, Your seasons, and Your ways! Father, we need undivided hearts! Hearts that stand with You and Your principles no matter what!
Father, give us clarity to see that we CANNOT pledge allegiance to a man or a woman, a political party, an ethnic race, a denomination, a paradigm, or anything of this world. Father, give us clarity to understand what it REALLY means when we pledge our allegiance to You, then give us the grace to make that pledge whole-heartedly!
Lord, give us clarity! We need to see You clearly! In Jesus name….
