God’s Kindgom is not just words, it’s power. Bring the Kingdom!

“And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom …. I came to you in weakness with great fear and trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,  so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.“

1 Corinthians 2: 1-5

God’s Kingdom people are to be people that bring heaven to earth every day and in every way. In this hour, being a great communicator is not enough, persuasive words won’t do. We need a demonstration of God’s power. 1 Corinthians 4:20 says, “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.”

When Jesus walked the earth, He not only preached the Kingdom everywhere He went, He brought the Kingdom as well. The sick were healed and the dead were raised, and God’s infinite love was felt by all that would receive it. When God’s Spirit resides in you, you can do the same thing. So, purpose in your heart today to not only be hearers, but also doers of God’s Word. I know we often, use this passage for obedience and repentance. But it can also be used to remind us to follow the example of Jesus and His disciples and to bring the Kingdom to earth every day and in every way.

In Matthew 12:28, Jesus said, “But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” And in Luke 10:8-9, Jesus told the disciples, “When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’”

So no more lip service, let’s not just talk about it, let’s be about it!  Look for opportunities to release Kingdom everyday!

Matthew 6:10, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
