For those who have ears….

Can you hear?

So many questions, so much uncertainty… as we go through…. we look to others for answers, for direction, for surety. I hear Holy Spirit saying, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:3

The call is so clear, so direct, almost like He is wooing us… What are you looking for? Who are you looking to? Every answer that you need can be found in His presence. We are running here and there doing our best to gain more knowledge, prescribe to man’s wisdom, or follow a preset format. We are calling on friends, family, mentors, prophets, pastors, or counselors for an answer and the Lord is saying “Call to me!”

Stop looking, no more wandering, He has the answer. Be still; press in to hear His voice in the midst of all the noise and distractions around us. There is so much, so many things that are vying for our attention. Its time to take a moment and turn everything OFF! Turn off the TV, turn off Facebook, turn off your phone, unplug from the hustle and bustle, be still and listen.

Stop thinking you don’t have the time to spend, you can’t afford not to spend the time. He owns time. Time will be redeemed not wasted in His presence. Can’t you hear Him?

“This is what the LORD says, he who made the earth, the LORD who formed it and established it—the LORD is his name: ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” – Jeremiah 33:2-3
